Finishing Touches on the Brewery

We’re a small team, producing our beer right out of our brewery in Waikanae, on the Kapiti Coast. Brought to life in 2013 by a trio of kiwis passionate about food, drink and the coast. Producing a range of beers, inspired by traditional European styles, brewed to capture the uniqueness of our land. Taking our name from Kapiti Island, where the aptly named ‘North End’ is most visible from Waikanae Beach; we appreciate local, including this in our ingredients, branding, and brewpub; Salt and Wood Collective, adjoined to the brewery, open all day, serving American style BBQ and North End Brews to dine in or take away.

Our sister companies include Olde Beach Bakery, who use our spent grain to make bread, Long Beach Tavern at Waikanae Beach with a garden bar, where we grow as much of our produce as the land allows, great for drinking our North End Beers all year round. Salt and Wood BBQ is where you can find our cellar door, along with delicious smoked meats and burgers. Last, but not least, is Salty's Tavern - the best place on the coast for authentic deep dish Detroit style pizza in Paraparaumu Beach. Check them all out at www.foodfolk.co.nz
